PhD Student Receives ESMQ New Researcher Award"

Kosuke Takata, a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Sport Economics and Sport Management, has been honored with the ESMQ New Researcher Award at the 31st European Sport Management Conference in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

We are delighted to announce a remarkable achievement by one of our PhD students at the Institute of Sport Economics and Sport Management. At the 31st European Sport Management Conference held in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Kosuke Takata was awarded the prestigious ESMQ (European Sport Management Quarterly) New Researcher Award. This recognition is a testament to his dedication, as well as the guidance and support of his supervisor, PD Kirstin Hallmann.
The ESMQ New Researcher Award, sponsored by Routledge Journals, is granted for the best original theoretical or empirical advancement and a significant unpublished contribution in the field of sport management.

Kosuke's Accomplishments:
Kosuke's research focused on international sport tourism. His presentation title was "Interrelationships between Authenticity Perception of Sport Heritage Events, Positive Emotion, Cross-Cultural Understanding, and Word-of-mouth."
