Centre for Health and Integrative Physiology in Space (CHIPS)
Das ZiP ist neben dem Institut für Luft- und Raumfahrtmedizin des DLR in Köln-Porz und dem Zentrum für Weltraummedizin an der Charité in Berlin eines der drei weltraummedizinischen Zentren in Deutschland.
Daneben bestehen enge Kooperationen mit der nationalen Raumfahrtagentur (DLR) und der Europäischen Raumfahrtagentur (ESA), ebenso wie dem European Astronaut Center (EAC).
Beside the Institute of Aerospace Medicine located at DLR Köln and the Centre for Space medicine located at the Charité in Berlin, the ZiP is the third space life science centre in Germany.
Further cooperation exist between the ZiP and the national German Space Agency (DLR) and the European Space Agency (ESA) including the European Astronaut Centre (EAC).
