Gateway Start-up Center
This is the right place for you if you already have a concrete start-up idea. The offers of the Gateway at GSU provide you with the framework to concretize your idea, to create a business plan, to secure initial financing and to network with other founders at the university. All programs are part of the "Gateway", an association of the Cologne universities TH Köln, Universität zu Köln, Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln and German Sport University. The goal is to link the start-up measures at the universities and to jointly create new offers and thus strengthen Cologne as a start-up location.
Cooperation & Transfer
Are you interested in transfer-relevant funding programs, patents, intellectual property rights or networking with non-academic partners? Or are you simply interested in what knowledge and technology transfer can look like? The programs of the transfer division are explicitly aimed at all doctoral students and scientists with ambitions to apply their scientific findings in practice.
Department of further Education
For all those who want to further their education and expand their competencies in the field of sports science, the German Sport University Cologne offers continuing education. Those interested can choose between part-time master's degree programs, certificates, and numerous practical courses and seminars in sports as well as interdisciplinary courses and seminars.
