Dr. Frowin Fasold is a new DHB coach.
SpoHo handball lecturer Dr. Frowin Fasold takes over a coaching position at the German Handball Federation (DHB). Together with Fernanda Roveta, Fasold forms the new coaching duo of the female youth team in beach handball.
The 33-year-old is not a newcomer at the DHB. "He has already played a decisive role in the framework training concept for beach handball and is therefore no stranger to the processes," explains Jens Pfänder, performance sports officer and beach handball coordinator at the German Handball Federation. Fasold takes over the duties of Alexander Novakovic, who most recently supervised the women and the young women in personal union and now devotes himself as coach entirely to the women's national team.
In addition to many years of experience as a player and coach in beach handball, Fasold (Institute for Training Science and Sports Informatics) brings knowledge and competences from the field of cognitive and sports game research at the German Sports University Cologne. The graduate sports scientist with a focus on training and performance has been working for more than nine years as a teacher for special tasks in the field of handball.
