Symposia on sport politics

Since 2009 yearly symposia on sport politics are held. Each symposium goes along with the process of differentiation and institutionalization of sport politics as a scientific discipline. The meetings focus on the status quo of research as well as on the development of future aspects in sport politics.

In this context experts and researchers of different disciplines are meeting. In the centre of each symposia, which are organised by the Institute of European Sport Development and Leisure Studies, is always a current topic with fundamental or actual impact.
