The German Sport University Cologne is delighted to host the "World Congress of Sport Psychology 2029“. !

From July 30th to August 3rd, 2029, the German Sport University Cologne will proudly host the World Congress of Sport Psychology (WCSP 2029), one of the leading global conferences in the field. Under the theme "Breaking Barriers in Sport Psychology: A Vision for Societal Impact," the congress will bring together renowned experts, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to explore the latest advancements in sport psychology and their broader societal impact.

WCSP 2029 will offer a diverse program featuring keynote speeches from top international researchers, interactive workshops, and engaging panel discussions that will highlight new directions in sport psychology. Participants will have the chance to build global networks, learn from leading experts, and collaborate with professionals from various cultures and disciplines. The congress will also showcase innovative research and practical approaches that push forward both the scientific and applied aspects of sport psychology.

The year 2029 is particularly fitting as there are several other anniversaries to celebrate: 65 years of Institute of Psychology at GSU Cologne, 60 years of German Association of Sport Psychology (asp) and 60 years of European Sport Psychology by FEPSAC.
