Mourning for Norbert Müller

It is with sadness that we announce that Professor Norbert Müller passed away on 16 February 2022 after a period of struggle with health issues. Professor Müller was one of the founders of the Master of Arts in Olympic Studies Programme which he envisaged with passion, always fascinated by the Olympic values and their contribution in the education and development of young people.

His academic and scientific achievements make his legacy a true school of tireless interest for new discoveries and new ways of interpretation of the heritage of Pierre de Coubertin. Norbert transmitted his motivation and dynamism to all of us. He was a faithful friend of his colleagues and of his students for whom he had great consideration. He was always ready to listen and to understand.

Our thoughts are with the family of whom he was so immensely proud.
