Online Meeting of Olympic Studies Centres

Since the 2012 London Olympic Games an International Colloquium of Olympic Studies and Research Centres have been organised every four years. The 3^rd edition of this event was held on 23^rd and 24^th September 2021. This time after the Olympic Games which itself were postponed for one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The online Colloquium was organised by the University of Tsukuba, Japan and attended by about 48 representatives of Olympic Studies Centres. The team of the Olympic Studies Centre of the German Sport University Cologne delivered an interesting lecture on the Centre`s research and teaching activities. Since 2012 Prof. Stephan Wassong has been chairing the steering committee of the international colloquiums.
