Re-Certification of the M.A. Olympic Studies

On 7 March 2022, the staff members of the Olympic Studies Centre were informed on the successful result of the mandatory evaluation of the M.A. Olympic Studies. As can be seen from the official certificate, the programme has now been accredited for a further eight years. Since June 2021, external experts coming from the fields of quality assurance in teaching and learning, sport-related professional fields and sport organisations undertook an evaluation of the study programme in terms of its structure, content delivery, qualification schemes, student feedback, learning outcomes and compatibility with the demands of the professional environment. Prof. Wassong, who is director of the programme, mentioned that the evaluation was highly effective and contributes to strengthening the sustainable profile of the study programme, which continues to enjoy a high reputation on the national and international level.
