Frowin Fasold is a senior lecturer at the Institute of Exercise Training and Sport Informatics (Department II: Cognition- and Sports Games Research) at the German Sport University Cologne. He studied sports science with a focus on training and performance at the GSU Cologne (2005-2009). From 2010 on, he completed his PhD at the GSU Cologne and has been head of the teaching and research area of handball here since 2014. His research activities deal with a variety of interdisciplinary aspects of sports games research on a quantitative, but also on a qualitative level. As an A-licence holder, he has been and still is active as a coach at various performance levels in the sports games of handball and beach handball.
