70 years GSU

Happy Birthday GSU! On the 29th of November 1947 the German Sport University Cologne was officially opened.

The teaching already started on the 07th of July 1947 with 100 students (35 female). Later in 1960 the cornerstone for the new campus was set, so that all students and staff could move to the new campus in 1963. In the following decades the German Sport University grew significantly and became the international renowned University that it is today - more information on it´s 70 years old history you can find here.
