Germany´s track and field athletes shine at the university games in Taipeh

Dr. Norbert Stein, lecturer and representative of high performance sport at GSU, led 26 track and field athletes on a very successful winning streak in Taipeh.

The athletes won 5 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal - 23 out of the 26 athletes made it to the finals in their respective discipline. Apart from the physical performances, Dr. Stein commended the positive atmosphere and team spirit exhibited by the whole team. The athletes were supported by the coaches, physiotherapists and doctors as well as the enthusiastic audience and spectators.
