IOC renews commitment to support M.A. Olympic Studies

The GSU's international part-time Master´s programme M.A. Olympic Studies will continue to receive support by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the years 2024 and 2025. The additional funding by the IOC is used to reinforce the delivery of high-quality teaching to the programme´s participants, by inviting additional international experts and ensuring access to the best possible teaching materials, methods and equipment.

Maria Bogner (Head of The IOC Olympic Studies Centre) and Nuria Puig (Senior Manager of External Relations & Academic Programmes) informed Prof. Wassong of the renewal of the IOC´s commitment and congratulated the programme team on the development of the programme in terms of content, academic partners and participants.

Prof. Wassong expressed his gratitude for the continuous support of the IOC for the programme throughout the last decade and the fruitful collaboration with The IOC Olympic Studies Centre in this regard, which has significantly contributed to the programme´s success.
