Re-Opening of the Cafeteria
The Bistro Auszeit, or "Cafete" as it is often called at the Spoho, has opened again since Monday, September 28, 2020 with snacks and lunch to take away.
Yellow adhesive strips everywhere, arrows indicating the direction, displays with information posters and disinfection stands - the cafeteria now has a slightly different look after the corona-related closure. Nevertheless, many students and staff of the Spoho will certainly be happy that there is now something here again to counter small and big hunger.
From Monday to Friday, between 8 and 14:30h, the cafeteria offers sandwiches and sweet snacks as well as a warm lunch every day - vegetarian/vegan or with meat. On-site consumption is currently not yet possible, which means that everything is available in a handy box to take away. You have to provide your own cutlery. The warm food is delivered from the canteen Robert-Koch-Straße.
Wearing a mouth-and-nose protection is mandatory, and only cashless payment with the Spoho-Card is possible; you can top up your credit as usual at the vending machines. Please make sure to wash and disinfect your hands, keep sufficient distance and observe the sneezing and coughing etiquette.
The Student services organisation as operator of the Spoho Mensa plans to resume regular canteen operations at the Spoho on October 19. By then, it should also be possible to eat on site again, including a seating concept and the independent kitchen.
