Title: Resilience: Using Your Resources to Tackle PhD Challenges

Learning goals:

• Getting to know the concept of resilience and helpful mindsets connected to it
• Becoming aware that creating room for something positive requires a change in perspective
• Increasing awareness of factors that are within and beyond personal control
• Learning how to reduce stress by intentionally interrupting their chronic stress response
• Devising a personal resilience plan based on existing resources

This ONLINE-workshop is offered for doctoral students.

• Courses in higher education didactics can be credited either in the HD-NRW certificate programme OR in the doctoral programme. Double crediting of individual courses is not possible.
• The „Startsprung in die Lehre“ cannot be credited for the doctoral programme.
• The "Zertifikatsbonus für das Basismodul":If you have completed the basic module in the HD-NRW certificate programme, an additional 6 units in the module "Learning to Teach" will be credited for the doctoral programme.

A  maximum of 2 AE of independent teaching can be credited once. As proof, the link to the online course catalogue can be submitted to the doctoral office at the end of the semester.
