Visiting scholar at the Institute of Sport History from Ethiopia

Endale Ayele Balcha is a senior lecturer at Arsi University and a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sport Sciences at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Currently, he is a visiting scholar at the Institute for Sport History.

Endale specializes in researching the sports partnership between the International Olympic Committee and the UN with a particular focus on immigrants and refugees in Africa.

Over the next three months he plans to expand his university's network and explore the resources available at the German Sport University to enrich his research.
