Criteria that helped to get the job | The personal recommendation probably helped. More importantly it was the combination of my Master at GSU (and my focus towards modelling within) as well as my apprenticeship.
General fields of activity | Biomechanics, prosthetics, modelling and simulation
Typical daily routine| Right now either going to the library or a shared desk in the office in the morning to read or plan studies. When I can't read anymore I practice my programming and modelling skills. Also I'm planning conference visits. Soon it will get more applied when experiments and modelling starts. The data collection will take place in our biomechanics lab, the modelling and simulation at the powerful computer in the lab.

"During my undergrad time I learned that as a sport scientist you actually know more than you think. Especially working in the gym showed my that a lot of things that I thought are basic and everyone knows them are not as basic as I thought. During my master's internship I learned a lot of biomechanics focussed skills. The main takeaway to tell to a younger me is don't wait until the last semesters to do an internship. Just do one in the beginning, even though you might feel you should acquire more skills/knowledge beforehand."
Additional Qualifications
Trainer A coaching licence Judo
"During the TSM master you are quite flexible. You'll have the choice of complaining about the lack of guidance or taking your fate into your own hands. I think that's a great opportunity and the GSU staff can help you find your way, if you reach out to them."
