Vorstellung

Dr. Philip Furley (M. A.) ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Kognitions- und Sportspielforschung (IKS) der Deutschen Sporthochschule Köln. Er ist Abteilungsleiter der Abteilung "Kognition & Motivation" am IKS. Magisterstudium an der Universität Heidelberg mit den Fächern Sportwissenschaft & Psychologie. 2006/2007 Teilnahme am Masterstudiengang in Sport and Exercise Psychology an der San Diego State University, Kalifornien. 2012 Promotion mit dem Thema "Working Memory and the control of attention in sport: From general mechanisms to individual differences" an der Deutschen Sporthochschule Köln, welche mit dem 1. Platz beim Toyotapreis (Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaftlicher Bereich) und dem 2. Platz beim DVS-Karl-Hofmann-Publikationspreis ausgezeichnet wurde.
